A highly acclaimed actor in the Kannada film industry, Ramesh Aravind has garnered appreciation for his fine acting talents. Beginning his career under the auspices of the all time great, K. Balachander, Ramesh Aravind has tread an eventful journey in the last couple of decades in the tinsel world.

Winner of several awards, Ramesh Aravind has come to be recognized as an actor, whose films have substance and are thoroughly watchable. Sundara Swapnagalu, Ramesh’s debut film saw him in the role of an anti-hero, a role that a new comer would not dare attempt. Instead of getting type cast, Ramesh Aravind proved his versatility. Acting in all genres of films, Ramesh Aravind is known for his histrionics, as well as his comic timing. The year 1998 was a highlight in his career, as he saw most of his films hitting the right chord with the audience. He set a record with the highest number of hits for an actor in that year. Nine of his movies ran succesfully for over 100 days.

Soon films from across the borders beckoned him, and Ramesh tasted success in the Tamil film industry. Telugu and Malayalam films followed, however apart from the Kannnada film industry, he is reckoned in the Tamil film world too.
