NAM ANNA DON Is my 5th film as director. The film is of course a complete entertainer. It's a comedy film full of funny scenes.

I play the role of a Dr.Arjun, a cardiac surgeon in the film. When I told my film story to famous heart surgeon Dr.Javli, he said your character in film is so similar to Dr.Rene Favlaro!. Dr.Favlaro was an Argentanian doctor who introduced bypass heart surgery. He believed in equal healthcare for all -rich or poor. Like him, my character believes that any one who enters my hospital will go back cured completely, whether they pay the bill or not. My principles and business aspects of running a hospital clash, and what happens is the film.

Like the movie 3 idiots made comments on the education system with lots of fun elements, Nam Anna Don will probe healthcare issues in a entertaining way.

The heroine of the film is an Iranian girl, Mona Pavaresh. I was searching for a typical college girl, pretty and lively. She had to look very innocent and fresh. Even if she killed someone, the audience "should forgive her" was my idea. She had just come back from Tehran to Banglore, and fitted my role well.

Sanathani plays another heroine in NAM ANNA DON. She plays a sincere nurses' role. AchutRao, Rajendrakaranth, Umeshanna, Sunaina, Veenabhat are part of cast.

To add to the fun, a foolish Don group headed by RajuTalikote is a part of the film.

The film has 30 children as part of cast!

Music is by a new boy. He is just 22 yrs old - Mathews Manu is his name. We have got some excellent songs ready.

Camera is handled by Krishnakumar.

I have been working on this script for the past 6 months, to get medical facts correct, and to get comedy scenes proper. One DBC Shekar, an LIC employee from Davangere wanted to write a cinema script. I wanted to encourage him as he looked like a nice guy. I told him that writing for cinema is very tough and he has to be patient as we have to write and rewrite many times. He was eager to learn. So I added him to our team and have given him credit as co-writer.

I am concentrating full time and putting all my energies to give you all an enjoyable film. I promise 2.30 hrs of great fun through NAM ANNA DON. Await.!
